TFT and IPS are both LCD, and IPS is the latest of them. IPS consumes more power, but is better in sunlight.
Oled & Amoled are both LED, and Amoled is the latest of them. Amoled consumes less power.
Overall, IPS is the best for sunlight, durability, cost, & viewing angles, but Amoled is the best for resolution, color richness, thinness, curvability, and power savings. It depends on the person's needz. IPS suits me most cause am rather outdoorsy lolz 8]
